We were too hungry that night. I had surprised Hyo after she finished work at her hagwon, but I took a nap before meeting her and missed out on dinner. She also missed out on her dinner because of classes that day. So when we got on the bus we were starving. We were on our way to go eat dinner, but the smell of that chicken was too good to us. I was only joking about stealing the chicken of course…or was I?
I’m also pretty sure the guy overheard us saying “chicken” over and over.
After we arrived at our station, we headed for some 부대찌개 (budae chiggae) and I ordered extra meat and we pigged out. Good Friday night dinner! 부대찌개 is one of our favorite meals to chow down on.Also remember that romanization is only a tool. Try not to depend on it too much. Learning the Hangul alphabet is the key to success!
