So taking pictures of each other can be very interesting. I like to carry my DSLR around (especially on trips). I usually don’t mind taking pictures (and she loves to sneak to get them), but she usually tries to hide when I try to take one of her.
She does let me take more pictures on trips and without her glasses, but many other times it turns into a game between us sometimes to see if I can get the photo or not. But she came up with some awesome solutions to stop me from doing so…
So this has been my 3rd birthday in Korea. I can’t believe how time has flown, but yes…I am now 28 years old! 30 is getting too close.
Anyways, the birthday was made perfect today by Hyo cooking an awesome meal, and some great gifts to boot. The girl can throw down with some cooking! She also drew me this awesome picture:
I feel like I’m a pretty lucky guy.
Looking forward to the weekend where we will spend it with some friends to celebrate again. Cheers everyone. Look out for Episode #5 on Thursday or Friday!
There are a variety of Korean foods that I like…Kimbap is one of those foods. It’s good for Koreans when they’re on the go and need a quick meal to eat. It’s also easy to eat and comes in many varieties. You can find vegetables such as carrots, green leaves, and types of meat such as chicken, tuna, beef, etc. There is also one particular vegetable…the pickled radish…that comes along with it.
I strongly dislike that vegetable. Hyo finds it pretty funny and likes to tease me about it especially if we walk by it in the supermarket. Here is a story about it…
So now that you know the story of how it all started, I’ll start sharing some…interesting things that have happened. It just comes with the territory when two people from different cultures come together in a relationship. One of the most common is the misunderstanding or mispronunciation of words from both people. Here is one such story…
