So this is the first episode in our new series in which we venture to try every Korean food possible (from our Korean food poster). First up is the lesser known 녹두죽.
We headed out in our neighborhood to 본죽 which is a popular Korean chain restaurant for 죽 (Korean rice porridge). It was also Hyo’s first time trying it. So how did we like it? Check out the video.
I’ve actually never been a fan of stuff, but drink it sometimes when out with older Koreans. The new fruit versions are very tasty though and very dangerous since they are sweet and easy to down. Also with #3…while soju is still relatively cheap, the price has been going up over the past couple of years.
