Exclamations in Korean

Like most other languages, Korean has exclamations as well. Here are some common ones you may come across. If you want to study even more and improve your Korean, check out our ebooks over at the Dom & Hyo Store.

헉! (heok) = OMG!

아싸! (a-ssa) = Yes!/Hooray!/Yay!

대박 (dae-bak) = Awesome!

엄마야! (eom-ma-ya) = OMG!/Oops

우와 (u-wa) = Wow

참! (cham) = By the way!
