Hyo is not a huge fan of heels, but like to wear them on special days and when we are out and she doesn’t want to feel even shorter when she is next to me. She does look nice in them, but I always tell her that her being comfortable is more important. This usually gets ignored.
I’m also a fast walker but I had to learn to slow down when walking with her (which is not a problem). This was the first time we ever thought about her walking barefoot to get home though. The shoes weren’t really that high though. They were just really brand new and she hadn’t broken them in yet. Anyways, I didn’t just leave her there of course. We walked slowly home and she ended up with a nice foot massage.
